2018 SSDT Saturday Route

2018 ssdt saturday route

Although, as always, it's a shorter route on the final day of the 2018 SSDT, this does not mean it is any easier. The Trial can - and has been, won and lost on the final day. Two sections at Sleubaich offer the opening challenge of the day before moving on to the two Mamores - Upper and Lower. Old favourite, Pipeline is naturally in there and is always popular with spectators.

From the Kinlochleven area, the riders head West on a loop that will eventually bring them back round to Leanachen where the week began before heading to the very popular Ben Nevis and Glen Nevis sections. As always, Scottish week ends with Town Hall Brae in the heart of Fort William before the riders sign off back in the Parc Ferme.

What is the SSDT?

The Scottish Six Days Trial is a motorcycle trial with a difference!  It has the added test of reliability over long distances with riders completing up to 100 miles daily over a combination of rough moorland, rocky tracks and public roads. Find out more...
