| Dougie Lampkin Trials Schools! |  redbullreporter writes: Red Bull is looking for a reporter to send to the Dougie Lampkin Trials School!
This annual event gives lovers of trials and motocross the chance to be trained by living legend and multi-world champion Dougie Lampkin and his European team.
This one is being held near Silsden, West Yorkshire (exact location still to be confirmed) and you will be there to photograph the thrills and spills. | Cystic Fibrosis | As many of the SSDT regulars will know, the SSDT supports the local Cystic Fibrosis charity by means of a donation from the takings of the programme sales each year. On Saturday 7th November, Billy McIsaac is setting off on the journey of a lifetime to the Himalayas to need some much needed funds for Cystic Fibrosis.
Billy says "I decided that going to Everest would be a great way to celebrate my sixtieth birthday and in turn do something positive for others and myself. My hope is that I can raise £5000 by doing a sponsored trek to Everest Base Camp (18192 ft), and I intend to pay for the trek myself."
Many of you will know Annette Chambers who gives up her week in May to sit in the West End Car Park and sell our programmes for us. Annette's little girl has cystic fibrosis and Billy plans to use the funds raised to buy spirometers for children in West Grampian, the Highlands and Western Isles, to measure the volume of air going through their lungs....a worthy cause indeed.
