2019 SSDT Monday Route

2019 ssdt monday map

Once the lone piper has led first rider, Carlos Casas away from the West End parc ferme at 7:30am on Monday morning, it's straight into the action with just a short three mile run to the first group of sections at Coire na Cloice high on the hillside above Fort William. From there it's a run along the forest tracks of Leanachen Forest to the first popular spectator group of the week at Leanachan.

The route then makes its way over to Kinlochleven, taking in sections at Bradilieg, Carn Dearg and Loch Eile Mohr en route before the traditional day one lunch stop. From Kinlochleven there is the run out to Blackwater before returning to close the opening day at the infamous Lagnaha sections, having covered just over seventy miles. There is ample parking at Lagnaha in the community centre car park, a short walk away from the sections. The community centre will be open selling hot and cold food and drinks.
