Preparations are underway for the 2021 Scottish Six Days Trial with all of the behind-the-scenes work kicking off.
The organising committee confirmed that they were planning to hold the event as usual during the first week in May (3rd- 8th May 2021). Committee Chairman Mark Whitham stating “With the current world uncertainty we can only plan to run the event as usual, however we are in constant discussions with the authorities and other key bodies and will be constantly reviewing the position.”
As everyone will be aware there is a huge degree of uncertainty when planning anything in the near future, the club is aware that many are already thinking about travel or accommodation arrangements for 2021 however it is recommended that cancellation options are considered before finalising options.
The Club confirmed that the on-line application will open next week and be open to all, however those competitors who had an entry for the 2020 event, on the day that it was cancelled, would be offered the option to carry forward their place to 2021.
Watch out for further information when the entries open.
